El Grand Senor ($1.60) proved too powerful in the Lion Quality Products Traralgon Cup Final at Traralgon tonight winning by 5 ¼ lengths in a slashing time of 29.45 seconds

The Mighty El Grand Senor wins the Traralgon Cup
The 2011 Traralgon Cup was arguably the best Cup field line up in the history of the event, and El Grand Senor left the high class field in his wake as he powered away in one of his most convincing wins.
El Grand Senor added $28,000 to his stakes tally with the Cup win, and has now amassed more than $488,000 in total career earnings. He is now certain to exceed half a million dollars in stake earnings during his race career, which will put him in an elite class of Greyhounds.
For the record, Allen Lawson ($14.80) ran a game second in the Cup with Radley Bale ($6.90) third.

El Grand Senor is a Black dog whelped April 2008 by Where’s Pedro from Elgrando Gold (Elgrando x Sweet Liberty). He is raced trained and was bred by Carolyn Jones at Sale in Victoria. He has now won 33 races and been placed on four occasions from his 40 starts. The Traralgon Cup first prize of $28,000 brings El Grand Senor’s overall prizemoney to $488,410. Moving him to the fourth highest stake earner in history.
